Yes. Every one of the 26 tools works fully in the browser at no cost, with no daily limits, no watermarks, and no premium tier. We are not planning to add one.
Do I need to sign up or create an account?+
No. Nothing here requires an account, an email address, or an API key. Open a tool and use it.
Do I need to install anything?+
No. TypoStudio.tools is a website — nothing to download, nothing to install. Once the page has loaded, most tools continue to work even if you lose your network connection.
Privacy and Data
Is my input text uploaded anywhere?+
No. Every tool processes your text locally in your browser using standard JavaScript APIs. Your input is never sent to a server, never logged, and never shared with any third party.
Do you use tracking or cookies?+
We use a minimal, privacy-friendly analytics setup that counts page views only. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or fingerprinting.
Can I use TypoStudio.tools inside a corporate network?+
Yes. Because tools run client-side and never transmit your text, they are safe to use with confidential material. Verify with your own IT policy before using with regulated data.
Using the Tools
Why do some Unicode characters look like empty boxes?+
Rare Unicode blocks need OS-level font support. If your device lacks a font that covers the range, the glyph falls back to a tofu box. Try a different style (Bold, Italic, and Fullwidth have the widest coverage) or view the result on a different device.
Will fancy Unicode text work on Instagram / TikTok / Discord?+
Yes, in bios, captions, and messages. Support in each platform's search index and screen reader output varies — treat Unicode substitution as decoration, not content.
Can I use the CSS snippets and Unicode output commercially?+
Yes. Everything generated by these tools is yours to use in commercial and personal work without attribution.
Which browsers are supported?+
The latest two versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox on desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Content and Suggestions
Can you add a new tool?+
Yes — email us via the Contact page with a description of what you need. If it fits our typography-only focus and doesn't require an external API, we're likely to build it.
Can I contribute a blog essay?+
Yes. We accept short guest essays on typography, editorial design, and web reading. Pitch us via Contact.
Do you translate the tools?+
Not yet. The site is English-only today; localization is on our roadmap.
